If you following this report and the weekly analysis video that I shared previous week on YouTube channel then you knows that in previous week the sentiments from the COT report was bullish and we have seen a good Upside movement in last week so the idea of previous week COT report comes true ,kudos to those who followed the video and the analysis .
I am tracking COT report for gold from last 1 year and I have full data of COT report in excel this is the previous week data and you can check the effect due to change in COT report numbers :

Now for this week as you can see from the cot report data from following image
the numbers in managed money look similar as that of previous COT report, this time also you can see that big players covering there short and booking there profit from the net short positions and we have -21500 in short positions this time and in long positions we have +3379 contracts addition in last week so this simply indicating and showing the same idea as that we have seen in previous week cot report analysis .Also in previous week we have seen that gold tested 1800 psychological barrier many time and finally it is trading above this level now.
From the Price action view the next major resistance that gold will face is 1828-30 as you can see from the following chart. So if gold able to hold on 1800 then we can expect good upside movement in next week .
